It is often much more cost effective to repair and refinish your furniture rather than replacing your furniture.

When we refinish a piece of furniture, the original finish and stain are removed to expose the bare wood.

We specialize in hand stripping of furniture. While the stripping process removes the finish and stain, it does not affect the “patina” of the wood; the natural changes in color and texture which only age can impart.

After stripping the finish, the furniture piece is then sanded, re-stained and protected with multiple coats of finish to enhance the inherent beauty of the wood and protect it from heat and humidity.

Furniture restoration is the repair and replenishment of old, existing finishes, using like materials and original techniques.

After meticulously cleaning and repairing the piece, the existing finish is re-amalgamated and mixed with new materials to give it an updated finish. When dry, the piece is left with a fresh, crisp look, where most scratches and blemishes have been worked out.
