A client came to us who was referred by a previous customer. They had just moved into a new home and their old farm table looked out of place.
The farm table was her husband’s childhood table that he ate on as he was growing up.
Instead of replacing the table that had years of memories attached to it, our client decided she wanted their old farm table refurbished and restyled to match their new home’s decor. In addition she had an old dresser that she wanted repurposed into a buffet.
Our client had seen an episode on HGTV which featured a farm table that had been refinished and was hoping that Salpeck’s Furniture Service could duplicate the same look.
The instructions were to remove the original Formica table top and replace it with a new custom built, solid wood table top.
Our client also wanted the bench seats refinished to match the table top, with the bases painted the same color as their kitchen cabinets.
To complement the farm table, the family found and old dresser to be repurposed as a buffet.
As you can see the farm table transformation is beautifully amazing!
